, Paso Robles Police officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired near Larry Moore Park on Sept. 12. Officers responded to the area and located several people who were later determined to be victims. The victims ranged in age from 17 to 23. Officers identified the suspect as Michael Sobodtka, 49, of Paso Robles.

When officers attempted to contact Sobodtka, he was involved in an unrelated dispute. Sobodtka attempted to fight with officers and was taken into custody. Officers located and seized the firearm involved in the incident. Reports differed on the location.

Sobodtka was later booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon under 245(a)(2) PC, resisting an officer under 69 PC, and domestic violence under 273.5 PC.
