Crews continue responding to the Plaskett Fire in Monterey County. The Paso Robles fairgrounds and Pioneer Park have been serving as a base camp for the incident.

The city had 10 staff members assigned to the fire. As containment increased, the city had three personnel on the fire line and incident management team. Proceeds from the event benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation and its Champ Camp program for young burn survivors.
