Paso Robles Daily News reported that heat advisory in effect for North County through Sunday. Triple-digit highs expected in Paso Robles through midweek. Estimates indicated that the weather service warned of dangerously hot conditions, with temperatures around 90 degrees near the coast and up to 103 degrees inland. The advisory area includes Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, San Miguel, Shandon, Creston and Lake Nacimiento.

Residents are urged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.
